🦄 ETHDenver 2024: How to Apply + Maximize your chances of Acceptance

This week’s article is for the degens and future degens: Here’s Your Definitive Guide to ETHDenver 2024, how to apply for it and maximize your chances of acceptance.

Going to ETHDenver has become an annual tradition for me I went in 2022, and 2023 and I’m now applying in 2024 — and I genuinely believe it’s the best hackathon + conference in the Ethereum jungle.

So, what is this mythical ETHDenver, you ask?

Think Burning Man meets Coachella and Web3, but instead of trippy art and questionable fashion choices, it’s 5 days (or an extended 10 days) of pure, unadulterated crypto badassery.

25,000 builders, designers, and revolutionaries from across the globe come together to push the boundaries of what’s possible on Ethereum. It’s a breeding ground for first-of-its-kind dApps, epic collab stories, the most incredible and chill parties + enough late-night pizza to fuel the craziest of ideas.

When and where is this Web3 Woodstock happening?

The festivities begin Feb 23rd 2024 and run till March 7th.

23–28 Feb is BUIDLWeek (The Hackathon)

29–3 Mar is the Main Event and Conference

4–7 Mar is the Mountain Retreat in Breckenridge.

The snow-capped peaks of Denver are the perfect setting for this gathering of crypto’s brightest minds ☺️

Make sure to keep an eye out for the side events which are the real MVPs of ETHDenver.

As a member of SporkDAO, your application is FREE if approved, and membership is as easy as buying a few SPORK tokens.

You have three options to apply:

1. As a builder at BUIDLWeek/SporkDAO member

Step 1:

Become a SporkDAO member (Quest 1)

You can do this by staking some SPORK tokens on https://stake.sporkdao.io

If you don’t have SPORK tokens, you can buy some on Quickswap on Polygon

You’ll have to complete two transactions to successfully stake tokens, if you’re on mobile this does get a little tricky.

Step 3:

Fill in the application;

Make sure to be as comprehensive as possible, share your story and why you want to attend ETHDenver.

It helps to have an active Twitter and LinkedIn that demonstrates interest in the Web3 space.

Once your application is in you’re all done!

Wait for official approval from the team and once that’s in, you can choose to apply for the BUIDLweek and form your team.

Once your application has been approved, you need to claim your ticket within the tokenproof app.

2. As a General Attendee

If you can’t or don’t want to do the on-chain steps above you can choose to pay 599$ for a guaranteed general access pass.

3. As a VIP Attendee

For 2500$ you can also get a SporkVIP ticket with special access and additional perks.
